RAW BOUNTY BITES

WHAT YOU NEED

FILLING

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

  • ¼ cup coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp honey

 

WHAT TO DO

First make the filling: Put half of the desiccated coconut in a food processor and process until the coconut gets a smooth texture. (It may take a couple of minutes) Then add the remaining desiccated coconut, coconut oil and honey. Mix in the food processor until it gets a thick mixture.

 

Roll the dough into small balls or into desired shapes. (I used a silicone form and cut out bars from it). Place it in freezer to set.

 

While you wait on the coconut to set, make the chocolate coating.

 

Take out the frozen coconut. Dip them in the chocolate and place on some baking paper to set. Top with some coconut for decoration.

 

The chocolate should set very fast since the bars are cold. Place them in the freezer for a couple of hours to set. After they’re best stored in fridge.

CHOCOLATE COATING

  • ½ cup creamed coconut

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • ½ cup cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • ½ tsp vanilla

WHAT TO DO

Melt the creamed coconut on low heat. When melted, add the remaining ingredients.

 

Make sure everything is mixed well.

Dip your bites/bars in the chocolate.

 

Let them cool off and enjoy. 

TIPS AND TRICKS

Afterwards best stored in the fridge.
