RAW WINTER BARS

WHAT YOU NEED

BASE

  • 1 cup cashews

  • ¾ cup almonds 

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp water

WHAT TO DO

Mix it all together in a food processor. When the dough is smooth press it into a silicone baking tray and store it in the freezer.

CARAMEL

  • 8-10 dried dates

  • 4 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

WHAT TO DO

Mix it all together in a food processor. When it’s mixed well, place it on top of the base and store it in the freezer for 1 hour.

When the bars are set, cut them into your desired shape and cover then in chocolate. You can buy chocolate  (I used 70% dark chocolate for these) or make your own.

CHOCOLATE COVER

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

  • 3 tbsp honey

WHAT TO DO

Melt the coconut oil on low heat. When melted, add the remaining ingredients.

Make sure everything is mixed well.

Dip your bars in the chocolate.

Let them cool off for 15 min in the fridge and enjoy. 

TIPS AND TRICKS

Afterwards best stored in the fridge.
