WHAT YOU NEED

  • 300g dates

  • 1/3 cup almonds

  • 1 cup oats

  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 50g dark chocolate (I used 80% cacao)

WHAT TO DO

Blend the almonds in a food processor. I stop before they turn into almond flour so they’ll add some crunch to the cakes. When the almonds are done put them in a bowl.

Blend the oats into oat flour in the food processor. When done, mix the oat flour in the bowl with the almond flour.

In the food processor, blend the dates until they turn into a smooth paste. Add the cacao powder and blended oats and almonds. Blend until everything is mixed.

Form the dough into small balls. (I made 13 from my dough). And put them in the fridge.

Melt the dark chocolate. Dip the balls in the chocolate and coat them with chopped nuts or coconut. I used almonds, pistachios and coconut.

Store them in fridge and enjoy cold. (Remember to take out 30 min before eating).
